A truly special extension of this fantastic venue in Leicestershire
Matt approached us with an ambitious task: to rejuvenate the ageing exterior of Nemos at Stoney Cove, overhanging the water. What began as a straightforward brief to extend the decking with a new suspended structure quickly evolved into something far more challenging.
During the early stages, the structural engineer uncovered an issue with the original steels supporting the former nightclub being severely eroded and no longer viable. This discovery meant going back to fundamentals.
We carefully demolished the entire front section of the building down to water level, clearing the way for a brand-new, purpose-built structure capable of supporting the new steel framework.
Working on a floating platform, ensuring minimal debris entered the water, this was some of the most testing work our team has handled but the end result is worth it.
